A Special Place for Bert’s Art in Zaandam
A special moment for Bert Menco’s legacy.
Bert spent the final years of his life in Zaandam. Together with Thea and Monique (from the owners association) we selected one of his works to be given a special place there. The artwork will soon be permanently displayed in the entrance hall of the building.
Today, Thea and Monique joined me for this special moment and to see the work that was chosen.
For me and our family, it means a lot that Bert’s art will remain visible in a place that was part of his life. People living in the building and visitors will pass his work every day.
Bert dedicated so much of his life to creating art. Knowing that his work continues to be seen and appreciated, even after he is gone, is something we are very proud of.
It feels like the right place for this work. Thanks so much.
